hello! welcome to my blog. my name is lulu. i'm a brand consultant by day and a bon vivant by night. two of my greatest passions are food and travel. i started this blog when i moved from san francisco to new york in 2004 as a way to record my food and travel experiences forever. since then i have relocated along with my husband from new york to london to bombay where we are now comfortably settled and totally loving life. that's why my blog went from being called lulu loves manhattan to lulu loves london to now lulu loves bombay. i have two baby girls (r1 and r2) under age seven who absolutely love to cook and travel with me. you will meet them every now and then in my posts. i've really enjoyed getting to know so many of my readers over the years. i hope that this blog inspires you to try some new foods or go some places you've never been before. i'd love to hear from you and can be reached at lululovesbombay@gmail.com.

london is a great place for a holiday.and tube is very convenient.piccadilly, kensington square, hyde park are places to be seen again.shopping in oxford street is a must.and try to see the millenium dome.and then madam trussauds and the place where you experience dazzling light and sound effects.i believe it has gone very high tech.darshaney,am sure, will give you more tips.and there are a lot of indian and lebanese restaurants serving good veggie stuff.also a visit to stratford-upon-avon if you have the time.if you were visiting a fortnight later you could have peeped into wimbledon and seen some action.
Hey Lulu, have loads of fun in london - if u want a quick snack u should go to the selfridges food court - they have cooked food from allover the world. And you must visit Portobello flea market on sunday but start from the notting hill side (further on is really desi junk with high prices). Another cool shopping place is camden. Have loads of fun - party at China White (the in club to be at but mega expensive.)
thanks gs and nish for the tips. i'm so exhausted today otherwise i would be blogging. went for a run in hyde park this evening before dinner which was so fun because i got totally drenched in the wicked rain.
i'll ask darshini about china white :)
